About MR IT LLC
We make money systems simple, secure and yours
MR IT LLC is a technology company based in New South Wales, Australia, working at the intersection of personal finance and IT. We publish free education and build practical tools so people and small businesses can spend less time managing money — and more time living.

Our mission
Help people run their money like well-designed software
Good software is automatic, reliable, secure and easy to understand. Most household and small-business finances are the opposite: manual, fragile, exposed and confusing. We exist to close that gap.
On the education side, our guides explain money topics in plain English with clear steps, worked examples and honest trade-offs. On the technology side, our services put those ideas into practice — automations that move money on schedule, dashboards that show the full picture, integrations that remove double entry and security controls that keep everything safe.
The name says it: MR stands for money and resources, IT for the technology that manages them.

What guides us
Our principles
Least access, always
We prefer screen-sharing and exports. When account access is unavoidable, it is authorized in writing, read-only where possible and removed at handover.
No custody, no products
We never hold client funds, initiate payments for you or sell financial products. That keeps our advice on tools and systems independent.
Understandable by design
If you can’t explain your system, you don’t control it. Every project ends with a walkthrough and written documentation.
Practical over perfect
We favor simple setups you will actually maintain over complex ones that break the first busy month.
Honest content
No ads, no affiliate links, no sponsored rankings. Our guides cite primary sources and are reviewed and updated regularly.
Privacy as a default
This website runs without third-party analytics, ad pixels or external scripts. We collect only what you send us.

How we create our guides
- Start with a real question. Every guide answers a question people actually ask about earning, saving, budgeting, debt or security.
- Research primary sources. We rely on government and regulator resources such as the CFPB, FTC, FDIC, NCUA and IRS, and we link to them so you can verify. Our guides currently focus on US rules and institutions; readers in Australia should also check local resources such as ASIC’s Moneysmart and the ATO.
- Make it practical. Clear steps, checklists, comparison tables, illustrative examples (always labeled) and an interactive calculator where it helps.
- Review and update. Guides are reviewed for accuracy and clarity before publishing and revisited regularly. Corrections are welcome at [email protected].
